The refractories used in the high temperature zone of tunnel kiln should be consistent with the characteristics of kiln temperature and operation, and with the products fired. The refractory clay bricks are used below 1300 C to 1400 C, the silicon bricks at 1400 C to 1500 C, the magnesia-alumina bricks at 1500 C to ᱑᱙᱖᱐ ᱥᱟᱞ ᱨᱮ, ᱠᱭᱩᱵᱤ ᱟᱨ ᱠᱭᱩᱵᱤᱠ ᱖᱘᱐᱐ × ᱑᱐ ᱠᱤ ᱠᱚ ᱠᱚᱢ ᱮᱱᱟ ᱾

The working conditions of tunnel kiln lining are continuous and long-term operation. In order to ensure the normal temperature and pressure system of the kiln, the requirements of the tightness of the masonry for the working lining materials of the tunnel kiln firing zone are as follows:
(᱑) ᱜᱞᱩᱠᱚᱡᱽ ᱫᱚ ᱜᱞᱩᱠᱚᱡᱽ ᱞᱟᱹᱜᱤᱫ ᱗᱕-᱑ ᱠᱟᱱᱟ ᱾
(᱒) ᱱᱚᱶᱟ ᱠᱚ ᱫᱚ ᱟᱹᱰᱤ ᱠᱚᱢ ᱜᱮᱭᱟ ᱟᱨ ᱗᱕ gps ᱠᱚ ᱫᱚ ᱟᱹᱰᱤ ᱟᱞᱜᱟ ᱜᱮᱭᱟ ᱾
(3) Good volume stability at high temperature. The refractory lining of kiln should be fired at no lower than the working temperature of kiln. The refractory bricks should not shrink or exhibit a small amount of expansion after heating.
